how long does it take worms to mate and have babies?

im building a worm composter and i was wondering how long it takes a worm to mate and have babies i can’t find a direct answer anywhere onthe web…….

Worms are asexual.

   If you buy your worms from a worm composter, they will tell you. Worms mate differently under differing conditions, water, warmth, food etc. I would say they will be ready to sell in a year, if you are trying to make a business out of this.

   There is a fellow, kid acutally, who does this with nightcrawlers, and is a millionaire.
