This particular plant is just listed as “cherry tomato”. My local nursery doesn’t offer specific breeds. They just offer a few differing varieties such as cherry, beeftseak and sauce tomatoes. I’m betting I can keep this plant alive longer than two years though. I’ll just bury it deeper and force the stems to put down roots.

nice plant , I don’t know if your aware but tomatos are herbaceous perennials. so they are really meant to grow 2 or more years anyway because the root stays alive rather than growing strictly from seeds each season , so as long as you provide the right conditions it will grow, how well it flowers each succesive year depends on the breed…what breed is it anyway?
