    i wish you lucky rain! to bad i cant send some of our rain to ya. oh i havent gotten a fall garden yet as all my summer things are still trying lol, i want to use a cover crop for the winter but i cant bear to pull up the corn or tomatoes yet and theres gonna be many frosts at night, come a few more weeks. your lucky to have such a long season down there, and may the rain god bless your bed!

    OH! heeehe… something ate it!? Well, have you started planting any fall veggies yet? I planted some little pitiful plants so far, orphans that a friend brought me, so maybe they will do! cabbage, cauliflower, collards and broccoli… wish me luck- no! better yet- wish us some Rain! Its so dry here in my area, that when i plowed the garden, it was dust all the way down to a couple of feet!

    oh well thanks the garlic chives are suposed to be a flat leaf but they seem round to me,i tried one of the big ones and the littel one, i couldnt realy tell at the time but im sure it was not a chive, as something at it and didnt touch the chives so oh well.

    My tomatoes did a bit of the splittin too b/c of inconsistent rain.. Yep- the banana escort was funny.. Now, On the little questionable chive baby… feel it and see if the leaf is round (chive) or flat (probably grass)… or you can probably even smell it if you break a tiny piece of the tip off… Blessins! melissa

    I know how it is waiting for the end of the season tomatos to ripen. I’m crossing my fingers hoping they make it before a killer frost.
