my barrel composter


This is my second home made composter. It is comprised of two laundry tubs for just $8.00 each, bolted together and put on a rotating center dowel. I aerated it using pvc pipe with holes cut all through it.

    No I used nice 3/ …
    No I used nice 3/8th inch bolts in through the holes where they used to be rope to pick up the laundry tubs and then I added four more bolts in the spaces in between the handle bolds to make it fully secure all the way around. It is very solid and works perfectly for a very little money. have you noticed the ones on the internet costing around 335 dollars or more. These tubs only cost 8 bucks each and I had all the rest of the parts lying around my house already including all the hardware.
