do you compost your kitchen waste or throw it in the trash?



All of my scraps go into a special container then in turn goes to my sons kindergarten, so that they can use it for their compost heap….

    I compost banana peels and parts of vegtables that we don't eat. You're not suppossed to compost egg shells though, but I believe that's about the only thing. Hope I was of some help.

    Definantly compost if it is foods like banana peels, carrot tops, and rotton fruits and veggies. If it is a container of some sort (ie. milk carton, soup cans) check to if they can be recycled so you can recycle them. But if you just aren't sure, just toss it into the trash.
